About the Role

Jones Lang LaSalle IP, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Debt & Structured Finance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our European team, you will play a crucial role in underwriting and executing financing advisory assignments, as well as supporting pitches and other origination activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze and evaluate financing opportunities, including unlevered and levered scenarios.
  • Financing Memoranda: Prepare detailed financing memoranda, summarizing key elements of financing requests, underlying collateral, business plans, markets, and sponsorship.
  • Lender Outreach: Assist in marketing financing opportunities, coordinating lender Q&A's, and tracking feedback.
  • Loan Execution Analysis: Analyze and compare financing quotes, creating detailed quote matrices and modeling different terms and structures.
  • Transaction Management: Coordinate all party calls, conditions precedent, and ensure key deadlines are met during the closing process of transactions.
  • New Mandate Origination: Prepare detailed RFP responses and pitch decks to assist directors in securing new mandates.
  • Research Projects: Participate in research projects related to specific sectors, locations, or clients, helping to organize and lead these initiatives.
Requirements
  • Broad Sector & Jurisdiction Exposure: Work closely with senior analysts and associates to underwrite all different property sectors and business plans across major European jurisdictions.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Develop and maintain complex financial models, analyze and evaluate financing opportunities, and create detailed quote matrices.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Prepare detailed financing memoranda, assist in marketing financing opportunities, and coordinate lender Q&A's.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with senior analysts, associates, and directors to achieve team goals and objectives.
