About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product System Development Engineer - Hardware to join our team at MAHLE. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the development of new products and systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of new product systems, including hardware design, prototyping, and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality designs and implementations.
  • Work closely with the project manager to ensure timely delivery of projects and manage resources effectively.
  • Develop and implement design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for quality (DFQ) principles to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and standards to ensure our products remain competitive and compliant.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware development, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of electronics design principles, including circuit analysis, PCB design, and embedded systems.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Altium Designer, MahCad, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in Spanish, German, and French a plus.
