**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Product System Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development of complex electronic systems, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including Requirements Management, Hardware, Software, Mechanics, and Functional Safety.
  • Managing technical resources and collaborating with the Product System Development Team Leader to achieve project milestones.
  • Developing and implementing technical solutions, applying lessons learned from previous projects, and ensuring Design to Cost, Design for Manufacturing, and Design for Quality.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to project customers and production plants.
  • Analyzing customer requirements and negotiating with the System Requirements Engineer.
  • Coordinating development tasks with other technical domains and ensuring close collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Conducting risk and cost analysis with the Project Manager and Product Manager.
  • Planning and monitoring development cycles, approving the eBOM, and releasing notes.
  • Organizing technical reviews and design FMEA reviews with the quality department.
  • Defining critical or safety characteristics of the product and resolving technical issues.

**Requirements**

  • Master's degree in Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English (C1) and Spanish (C1), with German and French being desirable.
  • Technical background in electronics development, with experience in automotive electronics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Planning, Gantt, or similar tools.
  • Experience with Altium Designer, MahCad, and laboratory instrumentation and test setups.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills and experience in coordinating technical teams.
  • Desirable skills include knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, Matlab, LT Spice, and Automotive SPICE processes.
