Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the development of hardware systems, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of projects.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including System Requirements Engineering, HW, SW, Mechanics, Quality, Functional Safety, Validation, and Industrialization.
- Develop and manage technical resources at project level, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Manage technical interfaces with project customers and production plants.
- Conduct customer requirements analysis and negotiation, working closely with System Requirements Engineers.
- Coordinate development tasks with other technical domains, ensuring alignment with project milestones and MAHLE PDP.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Responsible for Design to Cost, Design for Manufacturing, and Design for Quality.
- Responsible for planning and monitoring development cycles, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
- Responsible for approving eBOMs for each development cycle.
- Release Notes owner.
- Organize technical reviews, involving other domains and the quality department.
- Design FMEA reviewer, working closely with the quality department.
- Define critical or safety characteristics of products.
- Manage and resolve technical problems.
- Willingness to travel and provide technical support on-site.
- Degree in Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Physics, or similar.
- English (C1), Spanish (C1), German, French.
- Technical background in electronics development, with emphasis on automotive electronics desirable.
- Microsoft Office Package, including MS Planning, Gantt, or similar.
- Altium Designer.
- MahCad or similar.
- Technical background in electronics design fields: Hardware, e-Layout, Software, Mechanical, Validation, Functional Safety, Prototyping, or Industrialization.
- Technical background using laboratory instrumentation and test setups: CANoe, INCA, oscilloscopes, waveform generators, power supplies, electronics loads, spectrum analyzer, etc.
- Cross-functional communication.
- Electronics problem resolution.
- Coordination of cross-functional technical teams (5-10 people).
- Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes.
- Mathlab.
- LT Spice.
- Knowledge of Automotive SPICE processes.
- Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO26262).
- Knowledge in Cybersecurity.
- Experience in reporting to management.
- Previous experience in electronics development.
- Previous experience in direct contact with customers and suppliers.
- Previous experience in the automotive sector and power electronics.
