About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Energy Sales Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales execution with AWS Global Strategic ISV (GSI) and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) technology partners in the Energy industry.

Your primary focus will be on building executive and field relationships with partners, customers, and the AWS team to drive top-line revenue growth in AWS Energy accounts. You will work closely with AWS Partner Development Managers and broader APO Segment teams to identify and engage partners focused on solution areas such as Line of Business Applications, Big Data, IoT, Migration, Managed Services, Digital Transformation, and Energy & Utilities Industry Solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales execution with AWS GSI and ISV technology partners in the Energy industry
  • Build executive and field relationships with partners, customers, and the AWS team
  • Work closely with AWS Partner Development Managers and broader APO Segment teams to identify and engage partners
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and new partners
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in AWS Energy accounts
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in sales and partner/business development in the Energy industry
  • Experience working with Global Accounts in the Energy Vertical
  • Strong sales background with ability to engage at the CXO level
  • Technical sales background with ability to interact with technical leaders
  • Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
