Job Summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will provide exceptional technical assistance to our regional service teams, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to regional service teams, resolving complex technical issues and providing expert guidance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product quality, development, and operations, to drive process improvements and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide mentorship and feedback to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in technical support, service, or manufacturing in a high-tech industry or laboratory.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional technical support, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • International travel (50% of working time) may be required.
