Purchasing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement and Sourcing: Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the management of inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels, and implementing strategies to minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and negotiating contracts to achieve best value for the company.
- Cost Control: Analyze and manage costs associated with purchasing, ensuring compliance with budgetary requirements and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis on purchasing activities, including trends, costs, and inventory levels, to inform business decisions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in purchasing or a related field, with a proven track record of success in procurement and inventory management.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
