Key Responsibilities- Manage the procurement process for food, beverages, and other supplies, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating prices and terms to meet business needs.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures, including first-in/first-out rotation and accurate tracking of stock levels.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure quality and profitability of food and beverage purchases.
- Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Provide accurate and timely reports on purchasing activities, including inventory levels, vendor performance, and cost analysis.
- Ensure compliance with Marriott International's purchasing policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in purchasing or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with vendors, chefs, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
