EDP Renewables, a global leader in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our team. As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in managing our BESS projects, from prospect to delivery, ensuring they are carried out under the best conditions to contribute to the successful fulfillment of our business plan.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement business plans for BESS projects, identifying suitable geographical locations to achieve business objectives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring progress updates and promoting information exchange to meet project objectives.
- Understand competitors and market participants in the energy sector, proposing strategies to detect opportunities and foresee risks to guarantee our competitive position.
- Manage projects from identification to transfer to the Construction and Asset Management Team, ensuring delivery time and project costs are met.
- Coordinate EDPR teams and external partners to ensure complete coordination of interventions and quality of contributions.
- University degree in a technical field or extensive renewables development experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in solar or onshore wind development, with experience in BESS projects in Germany.
- Strong knowledge of stakeholder consultation, German planning process, and delivering consented renewable generation assets.
- Fluent German and English, with Spanish a plus.
- Autonomous, adaptable, and multi-skilled, with strong problem-solving ability and teamwork skills.
