Job Title: Energy Storage Senior Developer

Energias de Portugal (EDP) is a leading global renewable energy company, and we're seeking an experienced Energy Storage Senior Developer to join our team.

About the Role

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to manage our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects from prospect to delivery. As an Energy Storage Senior Developer, you'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Main Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement business plans for BESS projects, identifying suitable locations and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including local communities, planning officers, and conservation bodies.
  • Monitor project progress, ensure timely delivery, and manage budgets.
  • Conduct market analysis, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to maintain the company's competitive position.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience in energy storage development, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
