Job Title: Energy Storage Senior Developer

EDP Renewables is a global leader in the renewable energy sector, with a strong presence in 28 markets worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Energy Storage Senior Developer to join our team in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company's BESS projects, from prospect to delivery, ensuring compliance with company strategies and guidelines.
  • Support the analysis of the German market for storage and coordinate business and technical actions for the development of storage business cases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project progress is up-to-date and objectives are met.
  • Establish and maintain high-level stakeholder contacts, adapting to dynamic situations.
  • Understand competitors and market participants, propose strategies, and identify opportunities and risks.
  • Forge potential cooperation with other promotion companies or relevant actors.
  • Manage projects from identification to transfer to Construction and Asset Management Team, following company processes and tools.
  • Guarantee delivery time and project costs from the beginning of the promotion stage to operation.
  • Monitor and follow-up technical and environmental studies, permit documentations, and permits.
  • Constitute quality application files and close project follow-up.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a technical field, with extensive renewables development experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience in solar or onshore wind development, either developer or consultancy background.
  • Experience in BESS projects, standalone/co-located or solar/onshore wind in Germany.
  • Fluent German and English, with Spanish spoken and written a plus.
  • Autonomous, adaptable, and multi-skilled, with strong problem-solving ability.
