About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Manager to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing the global Alpiq HR strategy in Spain, adapting it to local needs and requirements while maintaining global HR standards and principles.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement the HR strategy in Alpiq Spain, aligned with the HR Alpiq Group strategy and ensuring a consistent Employee Experience across the organization.
  2. Manage and supervise all HR processes in the country, including recruitment, training, development, compensation and benefits, labour relations, personnel administration, and internal communication.
  3. Advise and support managers and employees in HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, as well as guide managers in leadership issues or difficult situations.
  4. Identify internal customer needs and support change processes, leading negotiations with employee representatives and trade unions.
  5. Manage and inspire the local HR team, actively participating in global HR projects and implementing Global HR processes.
  6. Support and accompany Alpiq change processes, performing other HR tasks and needs of the Country and Group.
Requirements
  1. University degree with further training in Human Resources.
  2. 8+ years of experience in an international company and/or a matrix organization with generalist HR tasks.
  3. Good expertise in Spanish labour law and Trade Unions negotiation.
  4. Entrepreneurial and solution-oriented thinking, combining excellent client orientation with business focus.
  5. Outstanding communication skills, able to motivate and encourage innovation and proactivity while challenging behaviours and attitudes that differ from Alpiq values.
  6. High level of initiative, independence, and growth, thriving for excellence.
  7. Able to apply concrete measures and initiatives while keeping in mind the global picture.
  8. Fluent in English and Spanish.
