This is a key position within Alpiq Spain, reporting directly to the Country Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and implementing the global HR strategy in Spain, adapting it to local needs and requirements while maintaining global HR standards and principles.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement the HR strategy in Alpiq Spain, aligned with the HR Alpiq Group strategy and ensuring a consistent Employee Experience across the organization.
- Manage, supervise, and/or execute all HR processes in the country, including recruitment, training, development, compensation and benefits, labor relations, personnel administration, and internal communication.
- Advise and support managers and employees in HR processes throughout the entire employee lifecycle, as well as guide managers in leadership issues or difficult situations.
- Identify internal customer needs, supporting, accompanying, aligning, and prioritizing change processes.
- Lead negotiations with employee representatives and trade unions.
- Manage and inspire the local HR team.
- Actively participate in global HR projects and in the local development and implementation of Global HR processes.
- Support and accompany Alpiq change processes.
- University degree with further training in Human Resources.
- 8+ years of previous experience in an international company and/or a matrix organization with generalist HR tasks.
- Good expertise in Spanish labor law.
- Expertise in Trade Unions negotiation.
- Entrepreneurial and solution-oriented thinking, combining an excellent client orientation with business focus.
- Outstanding communication skills, able to motivate and encourage innovation and proactivity while challenging behaviors and attitudes that differ from Alpiq values.
- Able to apply concrete measures and initiatives while keeping in mind the global picture.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
