Job Summary:

As a Human Resources Manager for Alpiq Spain, you will play a key role in establishing and implementing the global HR strategy in Spain, adapting it to local needs while maintaining global HR standards and principles. Your primary objective will be to attract and engage top talent, ensuring legislative labor compliance, and facilitating HR processes for managers and employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement the HR strategy in Alpiq Spain in collaboration with the Country Manager, aligned with the HR Alpiq Group strategy.
Manage, supervise, and execute all HR processes in the country, including recruitment, training, development, compensation and benefits, labor relations, personnel administration, and internal communication.
Advise and support managers and employees in HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, as well as guide managers in leadership issues or difficult situations.
Identify internal customer needs, supporting and accompanying change processes, and lead negotiations with employee representatives and trade unions.
Manage and inspire the local HR team, actively participating in global HR projects and local development and implementation of Global HR processes.

Requirements:

University degree with further training in Human Resources.
8+ years of previous experience in an international company and/or a matrix organization with generalist HR tasks.
Good expertise in Spanish labor law and Trade Unions negotiation.
Entrepreneurial and solution-oriented thinking, combining excellent client orientation with business focus.
Outstanding communication skills, able to motivate and encourage innovation and proactivity while challenging behaviors and attitudes that differ from Alpiq values.
High level of initiative, independence, and growth, thriving for excellence.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
