Job Title: HR Manager Spain

Alpiq is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing the global Alpiq HR strategy in Spain, adapting it to local needs and requirements while maintaining global HR standards and principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement the HR strategy in Alpiq Spain, aligned with the HR Alpiq Group strategy.
  • Manage, supervise, and/or execute all HR processes of the country, including recruitment, training, development, compensation and benefits, labour relations, personnel administration, and internal communication.
  • Advise and support managers and employees in HR processes throughout the entire employee lifecycle, as well as guide managers in leadership issues or difficult or conflictive situations.
  • Identify internal customer needs, supporting, accompanying, aligning, and prioritizing change processes.
  • Lead negotiations with employee representatives and trade unions.
  • Manage and inspire the local HR team.
  • Actively participate in global HR projects and in the local development and implementation of Global HR processes.
  • Support and accompany Alpiq change processes.
Requirements:
  • University degree with further training in Human Resources.
  • 8+ years previous experience in an international company and/or a matrix organization with generalist HR tasks.
  • Good expertise in Spanish labour law.
  • Expertise in Trade Unions negotiation.
  • Entrepreneurial and solution-oriented thinking, combining an excellent client orientation with business focus.
  • Outstanding communication skills, able to motivate and encourage innovation and proactivity while challenging behaviours and attitudes that differ from Alpiq values.
  • High level of initiative, independence, and growth and thriving for excellence.
  • Able to apply concrete measures and initiatives while keeping in mind the global picture.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
