Job Summary

Oilandgas.Org is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our Global Legal Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal services and strategic advice to support our business operations in the Oil and Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Develop and implement policies on industry-specific issues, corporate governance, and regulatory affairs.
  • Contract Negotiation: Draft and negotiate a variety of contracts, including nondisclosure agreements, supply agreements, purchase agreements, licensing and other software-related or IP agreements, distribution agreements, and other commercial agreements.
  • Contract Review: Review tenders and contracts, and support negotiations to ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Contract Compliance: Monitor and improve contract compliance with established procedures, and provide redlined recommendations on contracts.
  • Dispute Resolution: Involved in the management of pre-litigation situations and ensure the management of disputes and litigation.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in an in-house environment, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Native in Spanish and fluent in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong collaboration and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
