Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at TikTok. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in advising on a wide range of legal matters, including contract negotiation, intellectual property, and data protection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on contract negotiation and drafting, including media buying agreements, agency partnerships, and talent agreements.
  • Provide guidance on intellectual property rights and data protection, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks arising from the Spanish and Portuguese legal ecosystem.
  • Support the wider legal team with litigation and regulatory matters, intellectual property, and privacy.
  • Collaborate with government relations and public policy teams on advocacy work.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a digital content or advertising business.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to take commercial decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with different teams.
  • Business proficiency in Spanish and English, with proficiency in Portuguese and Italian a plus.
