Associate Market Manager

The Associate Market Manager plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining a high-quality portfolio of relevant hotel and property products for Expedia Group's global traveler base. This position requires collaboration with lodging partners to maximize production potential in the marketplace.

The Market Management team ensures that global travelers find the most suitable property for their dream trip, and that hotel partners can reach Expedia Group's full breadth of global traveler demand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain strong partnerships with hotel partners by providing data insights and high-quality consulting services.
  • Ensure partner hotels' products are optimized on Expedia Group sites to maximize customer conversion.
  • Secure additional lodging rates and availability information to satisfy traveler needs.
  • Secure seasonal deals and promotions to support hotel partners' merchandising and marketing efforts.
  • Continuously promote and develop hotel partners' engagement with Expedia Group's suite of market insights, revenue management tools, marketing opportunities, and self-service tools.
  • Guide and support hotel partners to deliver the best traveler experience.
  • Regular travel is required for market visits.
  • Meet performance targets and execute effectively based on KPI metrics.
  • Conduct regular self-learning to improve skills.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in account management, partner/client success, sales, or related field.
  • Proficiency in English, Spanish, and Catalan.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Passionate about travel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Clear, effective, and persuasive communication, active listening.
  • Ability to select and present insightful data and implement meaningful action plans.
  • Prioritize and multi-task effectively to achieve critical targets and goals.
  • Proactively demonstrate the unique value proposition of partnering with Expedia Group.
