About the Role

As a Logistics Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the evolution of our processes. You will lead the development and implementation of new initiatives for our customers while also managing existing programs and identifying opportunities for enhancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate programs, track performance indicators, and communicate the progress of critical objectives that impact deliverables.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify operational challenges and develop continuous improvement strategies.
  • Collaborate with various departments within Amazon to pinpoint and adopt best practices.
  • Within a program framework, lead a cross-functional team to address challenges and drive advancement.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and internal workflows, establishing clear standards.
A Day in the Life

As a Logistics Program Manager, you will be tasked with planning, executing, and refining initiatives that facilitate the seamless operation of our logistics.

You will engage closely with a diverse range of Amazon colleagues to gain insights into their workflows, share your expertise, and identify promising new opportunities. You will take the lead in designing the implementation of these initiatives.

Your role will involve motivating and supporting your teams and colleagues to achieve key deliverables while proactively seeking data-driven methods to enhance our operations. Your contributions will be vital to the success of your team.

About the Team

The Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team is essential to our ability to deliver efficiently. As part of ATS, you will join a diverse group that plays a pivotal role in our achievements.

By leveraging air, sea, and road transport, along with state-of-the-art sortation centers, you will help ensure that Amazon's logistics operate at peak efficiency. Our team harnesses data to inform decisions, making Amazon more innovative and effective.

We prioritize safety, recognizing that our people are our greatest asset. We rely on their expertise to ensure packages reach their destinations quickly, conveniently, and sustainably.

Basic Qualifications
  • A degree.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLookUps) and SQL.
  • Experience collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proven track record in defining program requirements and utilizing data and metrics for improvement.
  • Experience in program or project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement repeatable processes and drive automation or standardization.
  • Experience in defining and executing program requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in managing end-to-end delivery and communicating outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Proven experience in leading process enhancements.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, engaging with multiple stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Experience in developing processes, project management, and scheduling.
