As a Sr. Supply Chain Manager at Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U., you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our global supply chain. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the organization, from operational teams to program teams, to optimize our supply chains and improve customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Supply Chain Optimization: Define and implement supply chain and operating models for various businesses, analyzing and interpreting data to improve efficiency across supply chains and multiple operations.
- Operational Management: Partner with teams to advise on and manage operational challenges, supporting the planning and organization of complex projects.
- Problem Solving: Work with a number of teams to navigate challenges as and when situations impact our network, resolving temporary issues and driving Amazon towards achieving new objectives.
As a Sr. Supply Chain Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, from defining supply chain and operating models to assisting with site resource planning for busy periods. You will be able to learn something new every day, with no two days being the same.
About the TeamAmazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U. couldn't deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you will be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology, you will help Amazon's transport run at maximum efficiency.
Requirements- BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree
- Relevant experience in analyzing data and creating reports for leadership
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and basic SQL
- Experience in program or project management
- Relevant experience in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics-related subject or MBA
- Relevant experience in a supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, or transportation planning role
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
