Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to become a vital part of our Finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily cash applications and manage direct debit processes, ensuring accurate matching of invoices with incoming payments.
- Oversee a portfolio of 1,000 customers, managing the entire accounts receivable process from billing to cash collection and dispute resolution.
- Address issues related to failed auto SEPA payments and credit card transactions.
- Monitor and manage customer credit limits within your assigned portfolio.
- Utilize various communication channels to collect outstanding invoices effectively.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Customer Service, Sales, and Finance to resolve queries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Perform daily reconciliations of accounts.
- Respond to customer inquiries through designated communication platforms.
- Manage invoice corrections, including issuing credits and refunds, and ensure proper reposting of trips.
- Prepare monthly KPIs and assist in month-end reporting.
- Work with the product team to enhance our in-house ERP system and troubleshoot any issues.
- Leverage your accounts receivable expertise to streamline processes within the team.
- Conduct portfolio reconciliations for external audits.
- Utilize BI Looker to create necessary dashboards for tracking accounts receivable balances.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Strong mathematical and logical reasoning skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and possess negotiation skills.
- Experience in customer service and communication with both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
