In the role of Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in verifying and validating innovative products and environments within our Enterprise MPN product and solution laboratory. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the integrity and functionality of our offerings throughout the development and deployment phases. Collaborating closely with diverse, high-performing teams utilizing agile methodologies will be essential. You will be tasked with identifying defects, risks, and dependencies while proactively engaging with stakeholders to address and mitigate any challenges. Your background in the telecommunications sector, combined with your expertise in mobile networks, infrastructure, and security, will be vital for success in this position. Furthermore, your capability to design effective testing strategies, implement comprehensive test plans, and produce clear quality status reports will facilitate the efficient and accurate progression of our projects. In essence, you will serve as the guardian of quality in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, ensuring our products consistently meet and exceed customer expectations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance & Test Management/Delivery within the Software or Telecommunications industry, industrial applications, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure testing in physical labs, utilizing equipment such as servers, firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Familiarity with Network/Security concepts, including Server Management, basic Linux knowledge, and comfort with CLI & Shell commands, as well as network tools like Wireshark and nmap, and performance tools such as Ixia and Smartbits.
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other Agile methodologies, including tools like Jira and Confluence.
