Restaurant Manager Job Description

At Hotel Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurants, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of restaurant staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase revenue.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other operational expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to design and implement new menus, promotions, and events that meet customer demands and drive revenue growth.
  • Ensure that all restaurant operations are in compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior management role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing revenue.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, with knowledge of other languages an asset.
