About the RoleWe are looking for a results-driven and service-focused individual who can lead by example and inspire our team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. As Assistant Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the strategic leadership of the team to achieve high levels of guest satisfaction
- Working closely with the Restaurant Chef to develop and implement innovative menu designs and marketing plans
- Driving revenue growth and profit without compromising colleague and customer experiences
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including colleagues, guests, and suppliers
- Leading by example and setting the scene for high performance within the team
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of management experience in a luxury food and beverage operation
- Previous experience working in a unionized environment is a strong asset
- Demonstrated passion for the Food and Beverage industry and knowledge of current trends
- Innovative and creative approach with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to work a rotating and flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late nights
- Proven ability to drive revenues and profit without sacrificing colleague and customer experiences
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer required
- Previous bartending experience and cocktail creation an asset
- Previous point of sale system experience required
- Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency required
