Job Summary :

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Senior Sales Finance Manager to join Airbus Defence and Space, a leading player in the aerospace and defence industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing customer-oriented and efficient sales financing solutions to secure and enable Airbus Defence and Space sales.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Develop and implement customer-oriented and efficient sales financing solutions to secure and enable Airbus Defence and Space sales.
  2. Identify and develop innovative sales financing solutions on a limited or non-recourse basis via banking, financial, and capital markets for Airbus Defence and Space customers worldwide.
  3. Establish and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and export credit agencies (ECAs) to secure financing solutions for Airbus Defence and Space customers.
  4. Implement and negotiate international financings with customers, banks, lessors, investors, and ECAs to secure maximum governmental support for Airbus Defence and Space export sales campaigns and contracts.
  5. Secure and support Airbus Defence and Space turnover and performance targets through the implementation of various financing solutions.
  6. Protect Airbus Defence and Space balance sheet by limiting risk exposure from sales financing.
  7. Secure cash targets through the negotiation of favorable and secured payment terms with customers, banks, ECAs, private insurances, and law firms.
  8. Develop innovative financing solutions through co-operations with the external financial community to boost Airbus Defence and Space sales.
  9. Support the Group Ethics & Compliance process to secure access to ECA coverage.

Requirements :

  1. University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law, or Engineering from a reputable international or local university.
  2. Minimum 10 years of experience in a bank, ECA, or similar roles at another corporate.
  3. Strong commercial acumen and interpersonal skills to manage internal and external customers.
  4. Strong team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Specific knowledge in International Finance or Trade and Export Finance, Asset and Cash-Flow Based Finance.
  6. Knowledge of PPP/PFI, concessions, and acquisition and project financing structures/contracts would be an asset.
  7. Fluency in both verbal and written English.
  8. Availability to travel when necessary.
