Finance Business Partner Italy

The Financial Business Partner for Italy is a key role within the Barry Callebaut organization, reporting directly to the Managing Directors of Italy and Spain. As the primary financial interface for the Italian market, this role is responsible for providing financial guidance and support to the local management team, driving business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a business partner to the Italian market, providing financial expertise and support to the management team.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with the FP&A team to prepare budgets and forecasts, identify cost savings, and drive financial performance.
- Lead and coordinate projects to improve business performance, focusing on profitability and working capital improvements.
- Drive commercial business case preparation for business expansions, outsourcing deals, and sales offices.
- Support the transition to a new finance operating model, leveraging GBS capabilities.
- Drive finance process improvements, focusing on digitalization and standardization.
- Collaborate with Pricing to ensure accurate pricing of products to customers, based on FP&A analysis of pre- and post-calculated costs.
- Ensure integrity and financial controls in the Italian market, using data and intelligence from global finance functions.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Business Partner for Italy, with a strong background in finance, accounting, or economics. The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- English business proficiency, both written and oral.
- Extensive experience in finance, preferably in a multinational company, with a strong understanding of B2B and food industries.
- Strong stakeholder management skills in a matrix organization.
- Open-minded and curious, with a desire to continuously learn and explore various aspects of finance.
- Analytical, hands-on, and flexible, with a strong ability to solve problems and make decisions.
- Strong team player with knowledge of SAP (including BW) and IFRS.
