The Finance Business Partner for Italy and Spain is a key role that supports the Managing Directors in financial decision-making processes. This position acts as a business partner to the commercial teams, driving change and recommending solutions to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a business partner to the Managing Directors and commercial teams, providing meaningful decision support and influencing key decisions.
- Develop the commercial strategy for the area of responsibility and drive strategy implementation.
- Steer the Mid-Term Plan (MTP) for the Cluster, focusing on profitability and working capital management.
- Provide analytical support to enable an understanding of business dynamics, closely cooperating with the Finance Planning and Analysis (FPA) team.
- Lead and coordinate projects to improve business performance, focusing on profitability and working capital improvements.
- Drive and coordinate commercial business case preparation related to business expansions, outsourcing deals, and sales offices.
- Support the transition to the new finance operating model, leveraging Global Business Services (GBS).
- Drive improvement initiatives of finance processes, focusing on digitalization and standardization.
- Collaborate with Pricing to ensure accurate pricing of products to customers, reflecting interest costs in price levels.
- Ensure integrity and financial controls in the Clusters, using and building on data, information, and intelligence from global finance functions.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced finance professional with a strong background in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- English business proficiency, both written and oral.
- Extensive experience in finance, preferably in a multinational company, with a strong understanding of B2B and food industries.
- Strong stakeholder management skills in a matrix organization.
- Open-minded and curious, with a willingness to continuously learn and explore various aspects of finance.
- Analytical, hands-on, and flexible, with a strong ability to solve problems and make decisions.
- Strong team player with knowledge of SAP (including BW) and IFRS.
