About the Role:
The Financial Business Partner for Italy and Iberia is a key member of the Barry Callebaut team, responsible for providing financial guidance and support to the Managing Directors of Italy and Spain, as well as the commercial teams of Italy and Spain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a business partner to the Italy and Iberia country cluster Managing Directors and the commercial teams, providing financial guidance and support to drive business growth and profitability.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve business objectives, including volume and profitability targets, pricing decisions, customer and product mix, costs, and working capital management.
- Steer the Mid-Term Plan (MTP) for the Cluster, working closely with the country cluster Managing Director and commercial team to drive strategy implementation.
- Drive the financial performance of the cluster, focusing on profitability and working capital management, in line with business objectives.
- Provide analytical support to the business and management, enabling an understanding of business dynamics and informing key decisions.
- Closely cooperate with the Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team to prepare budgets and forecasts, identify cost savings, and drive business performance improvements.
- Lead and coordinate projects to improve business performance, particularly profitability and working capital improvements.
- Support the transition to the new finance operating model, leveraging Global Business Services (GBS) capabilities.
