Accelerate Open Source Adoption

Canonical, a pioneering tech firm, is seeking a Regional Director of Enterprise Open Source Sales to accelerate the adoption and quality of open source globally. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and executing a territory plan, allocating accounts to sales representatives, and identifying new logo accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a territory plan to drive sales growth
  • Allocate accounts to sales representatives to ensure optimal coverage
  • Identify new logo accounts to expand our customer base
  • Monitor pipeline development and support contract closure
  • Ensure accurate pipeline data and forecasts within Salesforce
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Experience with open source technology
  • Detail-oriented with effective planning skills
  • Track record in sales targets and new account wins
  • Professional written and spoken English
