We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Critical Environment Technician Manager to join our team at Microsoft. As a key member of our Cloud Operations Innovation (CO+I) team, you will play a critical role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for our online services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.
Responsibilities:
- People Management: Lead a team of technicians and engineers to deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring.
- Equipment and Systems Operations: Serve as an operations specialist in one or more major areas of operations, such as electrical, mechanical, controls, and generators.
- Equipment and Systems Maintenance: Guide, oversee, and perform various types of maintenance, including planned, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Critical Environment Culture: Ensure safety and security requirements are followed and met for the work of yourself and others.
Qualifications:
- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent and extensive mission critical services work experience. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent and 6+ years of mission critical services experience. People management experience. Experience in a specialized area, such as mechanical field, electrical field, or controls field.
