Position Overview

The Education & Training Department at Instituto de Salud Global de Barcelona is in search of a skilled administrative professional to oversee and coordinate various departmental functions. This role encompasses managing internal schedules, facilitating meeting agendas, processing financial transactions, and organizing travel and logistics for departmental initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a vital role within the Education & Training Department, which is responsible for accredited university programs, capacity-building research activities, and consultancy in Global Health education. This team collaborates extensively across different sectors of ISGlobal, contributing to the organization's mission of scientific translation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administering and coordinating tasks associated with the Education & Training Department.

Specific Duties

  • Organizing meetings and events while maintaining departmental calendars, including that of the department director.
  • Managing financial transactions, including payments and reimbursements.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements related to departmental functions.
  • Planning and executing events.
  • Handling administrative responsibilities linked to academic and training activities, including logistical support for classroom settings.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3-7 years of experience in a comparable administrative position.

  • Advanced skills in MS Office and Google Workspace applications.
