We are seeking an experienced administrative assistant to join our Education & Training Department at Instituto de Salud Global de Barcelona. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing departmental activities, including scheduling and maintaining internal calendars, processing payments and reimbursements, and organizing travel and logistics related to departmental events.
The administrative assistant will form an integral part of our Education & Training Department team, which includes accredited university programs and courses, research capacity strengthening activities, and consultancy and evaluation in Global Health education. The team collaborates extensively with other ISGlobal areas, programs, and departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage administrative tasks related to Education & Training departmental activities.
- Schedule meetings and events and maintain internal department calendars.
- Process payments and reimbursements.
- Organize travel related to departmental activities.
- Plan and manage events.
- Perform administrative tasks related to academic and training activities.
Requirements:
- 3-7 years of experience in a similar administrative role.
- Undergraduate degree or other professional certification/training in a related field.
- Experience in an academic/research environment and/or in global health-related institutions.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace applications.
Skills:
- Problem resolution.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in learning new skills.
- Advanced written and spoken English required.
- Other advanced written and spoken languages, including Spanish, Catalan, and Portuguese, are highly valued.
Conditions:
- Part-time contract (50%).
- Salary Range: Technic II.
