Wind Energy Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Energy Engineer to join our team at Nordex SE. As a Load Calculation Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and executing load assessment tasks within our service sales projects.
Key Responsibilities- Load Assessment and Planning
Develop and execute load assessment plans for site-specific load calculations, utilizing advanced aero-elastic dynamic simulation software such as Bladed and/or approximation tools.
Controller Function OptimizationOptimize controller functions and support the design of different components in a multidisciplinary team.
Documentation and ReportingDocument results and assessments in technical reports.
Service Project SupportSupport service projects and project work according to our project management system.
Toolchain DevelopmentContribute to the continuous development and improvement of our toolchain and methodologies.
Requirements- Education and Experience
M. Sc. or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Physics or similar with specialization in dynamics and simulation or renewable energy.
Project Management ExperienceProject Management professional experience on related tasks regarding aerodynamic simulation.
Technical SkillsGood knowledge of dynamic simulations of complex systems in an industrial application with tools such as Bladed, Alaska, HawcStab, Flex5, as well as for fatigue analysis methodologies and/or structural dynamics.
Additional SkillsOptionally additional skills in the usage of automation tools are preferable.
Personal QualitiesGood team player with very good interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities.
Flexibility and AdaptabilityDynamism and flexibility in a shifting daily work environment.
Language SkillsFluent in English.
Work Experience2 years of experience.
Travel RequirementsWillingness to travel.
