We are seeking a highly skilled WF IIoT Engineer to join our team at Nordex Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of highly available Java Spring Boot microservices in the IoT environment of wind turbines.
Key Responsibilities- Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain highly available Java Spring Boot microservices in the IoT environment of wind turbines.
- Requirements Management: Record and process the requirements of product managers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with our internal product solution.
- Product Development: Further develop our internal product solution for the future control and monitoring of state-of-the-art wind turbines.
- Device Integration: Integrate new devices in the IIoT software solution to enhance our product offerings.
- Leadership and Mentoring: Lead and mentor junior developers, providing technical instructions and guidance to ensure their growth and development.
- Education: Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Technical Skills: Sound knowledge in software development with Java Spring Boot, microservice architectures, service architectures, API design, integration patterns, and communication protocols.
- Soft Skills: Strong technical understanding and analytical skills, strong self-initiative, hands-on mentality, high communication skills, and the ability to discuss complex topics.
- Language Skills: English (very good written and spoken). Ideally, skills in Spanish and German.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Availability: Availability to travel.
