We are seeking a highly skilled Power System Engineer to join our team in Electrical Engineering. As a Power System Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of electrical simulation models for wind turbines and wind farms, as well as the integration of DLLs and automatic generated code.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement electrical simulation models for wind turbines and wind farms using Electromagnetic Transient (EMT) models.
- Integrate DLLs and automatic generated code into simulation tools to enable advanced features such as multirun, multi-instance, and snapshot capabilities.
- Test and analyze model performance, providing inputs to other departments as needed.
- Analyze and resolve modeling issues.
- Document activities, including design reports, validation reports, and user manuals.
- Develop automation tools to run simulations and create reports automatically.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on wind turbines and wind farms.
- Strong knowledge of transmission and distribution networks, grid elements, electrical machines, harmonics analysis, transient stability, and electromagnetic transients simulation.
- Experience with PSCAD, Fortran, C programming, MATLAB, and Simulink.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics clearly and concisely.
