Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Engineer to join our Technology Development organization in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating control improvements to feed our products and contribute to their competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement control improvements for wind turbines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including loads, aerodynamics, and other disciplines, to develop and evolve our wind turbine designs.
- Develop and maintain MATLAB/Simulink models and simulations to validate control strategies.
- Work closely with our international team to share knowledge and best practices in control engineering.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in control systems, and apply this knowledge to improve our products.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Wind Energy Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with MATLAB/Simulink in simulation and control development/adjustment.
- Strong understanding of control systems, including sensors, actuators, and electrical/mechanical systems.
- Experience with controller tuning, optimization, and validation in the wind industry.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
