About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Software Engineer to join our Wind Turbine Control group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing software solutions for the control and automation technology of wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test software functions for wind turbine control systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
  • Implement software functions on programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Develop and maintain software documentation, including user manuals and technical guides.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including software testing and validation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in PLC software development, preferably with IEC61131.
  • Experience in defining software requirements and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of communication protocols, such as Profinet and Modbus TCP.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office, particularly MS-Access.
  • Familiarity with Matlab/SIMULINK is a plus.
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • High results orientation and quality awareness.
  • Initiative, responsibility, and a structured approach to work.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
