Job Title: Junior Engineer Wind Turbine Control

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Engineer to join our Wind Turbine Control team. As a Junior Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of software functions for the control and automation technology of wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new and further software functions in the area of operational control of wind turbines.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of software functions.
  • Design and implement software specifications, test and acceptance criteria, and quality assurance processes.
  • Contribute to the creation of software documentation and ensure its accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:
  • Successfully completed technical degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in PLC software development according to IEC61131 is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of different communication protocols, such as Profinet and Modbus TCP.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS-Office and MS-Access.
  • Knowledge of Matlab/SIMULINK is preferable.
  • Experiences in agile software development according to SCRUM are preferable.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • High results orientation and quality awareness.
  • Initiative, responsibility, and a structured way of working.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.
