Wind Turbine Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Control Center Operator to join our team at Nordex Group. As a Control Center Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of our wind farms, providing exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with our global team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control wind farm operations in real-time, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Respond quickly and effectively to unplanned outages or requests, minimizing potential losses.
- Process and solve customer requests via ticketing system, including schedule start/stop, curtailments, incidents, cases, and service request handling.
- Collaborate with service technicians and customers to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service.
- Work according to our processes and work instructions, ensuring compliance with wind turbine safety rules.
Requirements:
- Completed mandatory training for the position, with a minimum of 1 year of experience as an Operator or comparable background.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly across Microsoft Packages.
- Profound English skills (spoken and written) are a must.
- Strong report writing skills, events, and wider implications.
- Polite and service-oriented manners, good communication skills, and a team player orientation.
- Experience in the wind industry or renewables and a good understanding of wind turbine safety rules is highly valued.
