Your Role

As part of M47's dynamic expansion, we are seeking a skilled Language Engineer to become a vital member of our NLP team, focusing on advanced Personal Voice Assistant software utilized by millions globally. We are particularly interested in candidates with native proficiency in British English.

In this position, you will assist in training Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing models, enhancing and tailoring the software to your native language. The ideal candidate will possess foundational programming skills, a solid understanding of Machine Learning/NLP principles, and a passion for language, enabling them to elevate human-machine interactions.


Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Refining data to enhance the precision of NLP/ML models for your native language.
  • Evaluating model outputs to provide insights and improvements, determining the optimal data to feed into the algorithms.
  • Contributing ideas and suggestions for innovative approaches and new product features tailored to your home market.
  • Automating and integrating workflows across various systems.
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with team members and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Native proficiency in British English
  • Minimum of 1 year of engineering experience with a keen interest in various technical domains.
  • Experience in NLP, Machine Learning, or related fields such as Data Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with popular ML libraries such as Pytorch, Scikit-learn, Keras, NLTK, etc.
  • Strong linguistic understanding and knowledge of the structural aspects of the English language.
  • Experience with GIT or other version control systems.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a capacity for innovative thinking.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A relevant academic background (BSc or MSc) in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Speech Technologies, or equivalent experience.
