About the Position

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Engineer to join our team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center - Centro Nacional De Supercomputación. The successful candidate will work on developing AI solutions for safety-critical systems, focusing on diverse redundancy for AI using appropriate accelerators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software-only solutions for low-cost diverse redundancy for AI algorithms and test them on relevant COTS processors.
  • Develop hardware/software solutions for low-cost diverse redundancy for AI algorithms and test them on appropriate hardware prototypes.
  • Lead a small team of junior engineers and students contributing to these tasks.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Sciences, or Telecommunications, with a PhD in the area (or in the last year of the PhD) being highly preferred.
  • Practical experience using COTS processors, performance simulators, and research experience.
  • Knowledge of AI basic concepts.
  • Experience using NVIDIA GPUs and GPUsim is welcome.

  • Good communication skills, including a good command of the English language (written and spoken).
