Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of mechanics in performing maintenance on various types of vehicles and equipment. The successful candidate will supervise day-to-day operations, ensure quality assurance, and perform minor and major maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise maintenance operations on Government War Readiness Material (WRM) vehicles and equipment.
  2. Perform minor and major maintenance on Government Vehicles (GOVs) and complete vehicle work order request forms.
  3. Inspect and repair military, industrial, and commercial designed base maintenance, material handling, special purpose, general purpose vehicles.
  4. Determine general condition of Government vehicles and perform Limited Technical Inspections (LTIs).
  5. Diagnose unusual noises, road test and operate vehicles to test components.
  6. Remove, disassemble, repair and replace components, assemblies and subassemblies, and reinstall as required to maintain vehicles in safe operating conditions.
  7. Perform functional tests and repairs on water and fuel pumping systems, cable and hydraulic lifting equipment, forklifts, towing equipment, gasoline, and diesel-powered engines.
  8. Make operational adjustments on drag brakes, relief valves, operating chains, lift cylinders, clutches, transmissions, brakes, and engine components.
  9. Perform lubrication, oil and filter changes on Government fleet vehicles and equipment.
  10. Perform minor corrosion control repairs detected during safety, scheduled and unscheduled inspections.
  11. Perform collateral duties associated with vehicle maintenance practices to include administrative processes.

Requirements:

  • Must be certified as a vehicle mechanic and mechanical systems.
  • Must have a host nation or equivalent driver's permit.
