Job Description

As a Customer Insights Intern you will learn and help the team with the large amount of data and insight within the business about our customers. In addition, we have completed several research projects to understand customer perception and developed a customer journey map of key touchpoints. To ensure we continue to realize the ROI on research, we need to leverage the insight and provide input to future projects.

The intern will participate in (and get an opportunity to learn to perform) the following tasks/activities:
- Review and segmentation of data from systems like SAP, Salesforce etc., supporting development of new customer experience metrics.- Calculation of previously established metrics measuring impact of customer experience projects.- Coordination and tracking of internal communications, execution of regular content digest newsletters and publishing customer quotes in the intranet.- Collation of qualitative and quantitative data (surveys, debriefs, interview text, audio)- Classification of qualitative data (text and audio)- Review and classification of information from the Closed Loop process with customers.- Basic video editing (to be learnt on the job)- Automated video transcript editing.- Identification of content that is relevant to different customer journey touchpoints (such as ordering, receiving, paying), pulling out any differences by location, customer type, industry etc.- Development of templates to capture insight for each stage of customer journey.
- Participation in research to discover customer expectations and CHEP performance against these.
- Collation of the information and sharing of content around each stage in an easily digestible format, with customer comments and video snips included, with thought given to how this can potentially be shared widely across the business and, when relevant, with external agencies
- Seeking input from Global and Regional teams (eg Customer Service, Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain etc)
- Collation of data from markets to better segment the insight: commercial landscape by market (revenue, maturity, market share, competitors, customers, loyalty and churn levels, market trends)

Skills and Knowledge:

- English proficiency (very good understanding of spoken English and writing), preferably with experience of living in an English-speaking country.
- Willingness to gain experience of collating and analyzing diverse internal and external data to provide a clear narrative.
- Willingness to gain research and insight experience.
- Good organization of work and time management.
- Showing initiative, dynamism and learning on the fly.
- Spanish proficiency would be a plus.
