A GCE Sales Executive will maximize revenue opportunities in the areas of groups, conferences and events, reservations and sales by driving sales leads, increasing conversions and support reservation department.

**What will I be doing?**

The GCE Sales Executive will play a key role within the commercial department, fully supporting GCE & Sales Team from administrative, customer service, and sale lead development perspectives, to develop future and repeat business. In addition, the GCE Sales Executive will give support to the reservation department when needed.
- Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
- Manage an events schedule to maximise yield
- Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach
- Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs
- Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds
- Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events
- Participate in hotel promotional activities
- Generate and develop sales leads and contact potential clients to build business relationships
- Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clients
- Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the senior management
- Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business
- Support Reservation Department when needed

- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Strong communication skills
- High level of IT skills
- Excellent grooming standards
- Demonstrated previous experience working in GCE &/ or Sales environment
- Fluent in English & Spanish., written & spoken.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

- Knowledge of the hotel property management systems
- Demonstrated previous experience working in the Conference and Events function
- Qualification, degree, or certification in a relevant field
