**Job Description** Deal Opportunity Director (EU Deal Team)** - Location Madrid (Spain)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be the Project Lead for large Pan European deals and Single country large deals, ensuring alignment with VISA's goals and objectives
- Support deals for European Clients with multiple CIA agreements by Geography - build overall client strategy with consistent approach across all markets, understand timings of associated CIAs, build in depth understanding of Client needs and market landscapes.
- Write client win Strategy, crafting an engaging proposal storyline, partnering with Account Executive/ Country Manager.
- Supports construction of compelling structures that resonates with clients and stakeholders.
- Present at forums to help secure necessary approvals for proposals and strategies.
- Leads workshops to build SME contents with relevant functions SMEs
- Leads production of client pitch with CEO RMDs CMs
- Lead client pitch reviews with senior executives, including the CEO, RMDs, and CMs, to ensure a persuasive and cohesive presentation.
- Prepares Deal teams for Client presentations - scrips, rehearsals etc.
- Directs/Manages Design hub on all Client pitch materials
- Management of RFP postmortem review, documenting lessons learned
- Drive through best practice and learnings from other Pan European deals, including maximizing usage of Deal Hub Content Library.
- Builds in best-in-Class client pitch content and provide insights to the Deal Hub on best practices to enhance future proposals, including training needs.

It is a highly visible role within EU Deal team and will require regular engagement with the Functional heads and other senior people at Visa Europe & Global.
- This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs._
**Qualifications**

**Requirements**:

- A bachelor's degree in business or a related field advanced degree preferred.
- Pitch written and storytelling in-depth experience is a must.
- Proven experience in leading RFP processes, crafting winning proposals and presenting to clients.
- Excellent leadership skills. Demonstrated experience with senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent financial acumen preferable.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of the payments industry is desirable.
- Proficiency in Spanish, French and English required. Additional other European languages are a plus.
