**What does this internship consists in?**
Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed **an exclusive program (DISCOVER) **designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to **DISCOVER **the skills most in demand today. It will be combined **with an 11 month internship at Airbus **in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.
The start of the internship will be in early March 2023, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.
The jobholder will work for the Commercial & Contracts Light Transport, MRTT and Airbus Derivatives, related Services and Aerostructures department, within the Military Air Systems Commercial & Contracts organization.
Worldwide Aircraft and Services sales proposals and contracts in relation to Light Transport Aircraft, MRTT and Airbus Derivatives, related Services and Aerostructures programmes plus, eventually, any other MAS current and future portfolio items such as Future Mid-size Tactical Cargo AC (FMTC), FCAS, EuroDrone, etc
Main tasks:
- Develop and negotiate the commercial parts of the contractual documentation supporting sales during the different phases of the Sales process (including negotiation) in any financial/commercial and /or contractual/legal topics which might arise.
- Support contract execution by managing commercial and contractual matters from signature until and including the delivery of the product/service.
- Monitor the customer obligations throughout the sales contract life.
- Prepare commercial proposals and contracts translating internal and external requirements into bids and ensuring compliance checks.
- Lead the commercial contract negotiations with emphasis on contract terms and conditions supported by Finance, Legal, and other functions, compliant with internal and external rules and financial objectives.
- Support contract execution enforcing the sales purchase agreements/contract including main milestone/related payments management and in close alignment & agreement with Finance, Legal, and other functions.
- Ensure claim and waiver management: Monitor the customer obligations and associated changes along the contract life cycle. Negotiate remedial actions to ensure agreements and avoiding disruptions.
Specific Task:
The main tasks to be performed by the job holder will be as follows:
- Provide support to the Commercial & Contracts Managers:
- Support to drafting/reviewing sales proposals Commercial Volume.
- Support to drafting/reviewing/ensuring coherence and quality of the infopack, MoM and MG - Certificates for Maturity Gates and Risk Management Committees.
- Support the searching for benchmark T&Cs within other divisions.
- Cross-check applicable procurement law vs. T&Cs in the respective countries. In case needed, liaise with Legal.
- Support reporting activities.
- Continuous improvement:
- Liaison with the TMCA PMO to ensure proper committees tracking and KPIs report quality.
- Support the ADS standard T&Cs platform and services contracts update drafting and maintenance incorporating new mandate clauses, etc.
- Draft the corresponding ADS standard T&Cs infopack templates.
- Draft and update templates to be used as reference for different contractual documents (e.g. NDA, MoU, etc )
- Data Management: Maintain the shared drive structure, ensuring proper archiving of contractual documents and approval records. Create and maintain a Contracts In Force database.
- Create and maintain a Bank Guarantees database. Liason with Customer Finance and Guarantees department to manage this database for amendments/extension/closure of BGs.
