**What does this internship consists of?**
**Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed **an exclusive program (DISCOVER) **designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.**
**You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to **DISCOVER **the skills most in demand today. It will be combined **with an 11 month internship at Airbus **in an area related to your degree, **where you can learn and complete your academic background.**
**The start of the internship will be in early March 2023, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.**
**Job description**:
Some future aircraft designs (low carbon alternatives for aviation -green aviation-, combat aircrafts, UAVs, etc.) introduce novel design concepts that need of high-fidelity computations from the Structural Dynamics and Aeroelastics standpoint. This project will analyse the future needs and develop solutions to be included into the current Methods and Tools of Airbus-DS Getafe.
Different aspects will be considered during the project:
- A/C Integrated Aero-servo-elastic Model: analysis of the effect of rigid-body modes (Flight Mechanics) on Continuous Turbulence (CT) calculations.
- Static (Divergence & Control Reversal) and Dynamic (Flutter) Classical Aeroelasticity.
- Dynamic Flight Loads envelope and related clearance roadmap to obtain PtF.
- Structural Vibrations (Limit Cycle Oscillations LCOs) Suppression and Flutter Suppression Technology.
- ALL-IN-ONE SD&A Software: graphical user interface to launch and postprocess SD&A computations.
The student will acquire a global overview of the aircraft design process from the SD&A standpoint, learning the industrial methods, tools and procedures, and working in a multinational project. Since the beginning, he/she will be accountable of the work, having regular meetings with the rest of the team and presenting the main results.
**Required Skills**:
- Master´s degree in Aeronautical Engineering
- Advanced level of English Language
- Spanish: negotiation level.
- Team spirit and great collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in complex and international environments.
