Corporate Payment Sales Head

As the Corporate Payment Sales Head you will be leading a team of Payment Sales Managers (PSM), as well as covering as an individual contributor, a broad range of our key corporate clients including Iberia HQ names as well as the subsidiaries of North America/ EMEA/LATAM/Asia Multinational Corporations operating in Iberia. We are looking for an exceptional individual with the ability to grow our footprint and ensure we continue to deliver a best-in-class service on behalf of our clients.
Responsible for Iberia Payments Corporate and eCommerce Sales team, you will be primarily responsible for growing and developing our treasury services, merchant services and trade business with existing and prospective clients, to provide innovative and transformative solutions to our clients to better manage their treasury operations and working capital. You and your team are expected to build pipeline and achieve new business sales goals through effective account planning, strong relationships and implementation of sophisticated selling strategies.
As the Iberia Payments Country Head the individual will have the Overall responsibility for managing the Payments franchise for Spain and Portugal. This is including, but not limited to representation of the business internal and external, interaction with regulators and external authorities, execution of the business strategy, ownership of local P&L, governance, risk & control, issue resolution & escalation, staffing and emphasizing good culture & conduct.

**Responsibilities**:
**As Corporate Sales Head**:
- Responsible for developing the strategy and drive the growth for the Payments business and the expand the relationship with our Corporate clients in Iberia.
- Sales of the entire Payments product suite/solution, including treasury services which covers core cash clearing, liquidity management and foreign exchange solutions; merchant services and trade & working capital.
- Partner closely with HQ, regional and country PSM teams to drive effort to expand existing business with current clients and proactively identify and align target prospective clients on delivering new Payments revenue.
- Understand the unique challenges and requirements in the industry/client segment and partner with internal stakeholders in the development, implementation and delivery of complex products and solutions
- Build trusted, long-term Payments business relationships by taking a holistic and forward-looking view on our relationships, and identifying ways to help clients achieve their most important business/treasury objectives
- Engage clients at strategic levels to provide integrated treasury solutions within a consultative and client driven framework
- Partnership with the Bankers in key account planning, including setting and implementing the account strategies and support the Bankers in client onboarding from Payments product aspects
- Lead and coordinate regional Request For Proposals (RFP's) with parent HQ and country coverage team
**As Country Head**:
- To represent the Payments business locally with internal and external stakeholders, such as the Senior Country Officer, clients, industry members, as well as regulators.
- Maintains an open relationship with the respective regulators and external authorities.
- Develops the Country's Payments business model to adjust to local market developments within the overall global Payments strategy.
- Manages the financial performance of the Payments business booked in country in line with the legal entity strategy
- Responsible for maintaining an effective governance and control structure for the Country Payments business in order to mitigate risk to the business.
- Ensure that staffing is appropriate for the Country Payments business in terms of competence and experience, that effective performance management is in place.
