The Front Office Manager is responsible for leading and supervising the daily operations of the front desk department at Hotel Sofia Barcelona, Hyatt. This role plays a key part in creating exceptional experiences for our guests, ensuring high-quality service, and seamless operational efficiency in the reception area.
Key Responsibilities:
**Team Leadership**:
Supervise and lead a team of receptionists, ensuring a positive and motivating work environment.
Provide ongoing training for staff development and ensure compliance with service standards.
**Operational Management**:
Coordinate daily front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, reservation handling, and room assignments.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient communication and a seamless guest experience.
**Customer Service**:
- Ensure exceptional customer service by proactively addressing guest needs and expectations.
- Resolve problems and complaints effectively, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
**Reservation Management**:
- Oversee reservation management, ensuring accuracy of information and room availability.
- Optimize occupancy and revenue through effective room assignment and pricing strategies.
**Financial Control**:
- Collaborate in the preparation and management of the department budget, ensuring efficiency and cost control.
- Participate in the implementation of strategies to enhance revenue and profitability in the reception area.
**Regulations and Compliance**:
- Ensure that all hotel policies and procedures are followed, including safety and quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry hotel regulations and norms.
**Qualifications**:

- Customer-oriented and strong problem-solving skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours based on the operational needs of the hotel.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (oral & written)
