We are now looking for a Global Head of Sales for Rail to drive globally the adoption of 3GPP wireless technologies in the rail industry vertical. The position is global and our team is diverse and distributed worldwide. Are you up for influencing the future?

**What you will do**:
We are now looking for a Global Head of Sales for Rail, to define and drive the global business of Ericsson in Rail, working together with the local sales organizations, to secure Ericsson as the leading partner in this segment and be perceived as a preferred partner for their journey to 5G. You will be responsible for:

- Owning the global strategy in the segment to secure Ericsson’s leadership in the segment, lead and ensure a successful implementation of the strategy across Ericsson.
- Accountable for accelerating the sales in the segment using your deep market knowledge and executive-level customer relationships.
- Position Ericsson as technology leader in communications for the vertical and conduct in-depth business, relevant technology, and operational discussions with customers.
- Be the global reference for the vertical, both externally and internally, in leading the business generation and understanding business needs of the customers and evolving trends in the market.
- Ensure proper qualification, risk analysis, and mitigations in key deals.
- Work on identifying strategic level leads and opportunities, as well as taking the role of opportunity responsible in a specific engagement.
- Coordinate with the best in class local and global teams, while interacting closely with our customers.
- Provide inputs for portfolio/offering development and innovation, to boost leadership and competitive advantages.
- Define pricing policies/benchmarking according to market requirements and dynamics.
- Active member of the MCN Leadership Team, reporting to the Head of MCN.

**You will bring**:

- Education: Engineer, Bachelor of Business Administration, Science or similar.
- At least 10 years of successful and proven experience selling communication solutions to rail.
- Experience in negotiating sophisticated deal structuring.
- Recognized as a global leader with vision in communications for the vertical and deep understanding of customer environment (business drivers, operational structure, and processes requirements).
- Entrepreneurship skills and experience launching new business. Capability to plan, anticipate and adapt to changes, guiding an effective response.
- A great teammate, collaborative and behave with integrity: used to working in multinational and diverse environments, facilitating everyone to perform at their best.
